PAPER OUTLINE ATTATCHED
GUIDELINE:
Students will conduct a review of theory and empirical evidence with respect to a topic of their choosing. The topic should involve a debate or emerging trend within modern clinical psychology, and each paper should critically review and analyze the research literature, while presenting evidence in support of a clear thesis statement. Your final paper should build upon the proposal and outline assignments that I have already provided feedback on.
The paper should be 8-10 pages long (12pt font, double-spaced; not including title page/abstract/references) and should be written in APA style.
Grading Rubric:

Introduction of the overarching problem, supported by references to empirical researcH articles (5 pts)

Clear statement of a thesis that takes a position (5 pts)

Overview of the opposing argument or side, including references to empirical or theoretical research articles (10 pts)

Detailed information supporting your thesis statement, including clear examples and language linking the information to your overarching thesis. This section should contain additional references to empirical and/or theoretical research articles to support your ideas. (20 pts)

Overall clarity and organization of writing. A clear “narrative” that builds in support of your thesis (5 pts)

Use of APA style for all in-text citations, references, title page, etc. (5 pts)
