5. Make sure your paper flows well. You must also include two new items:

An Abstract: At the beginning of the manuscript. Writing an abstract consists
primarily of answering the questions, “Why did you start?” “What did you do?”
“What did you find?” and “What does it mean? This should be about a half
page. Generally,
an abstract is less than 300 words.

Limitations of Study: In a few paragraphs, identify the limitations of your
research and explain the nature of the limitations to justify the choices that you
made during the research process. Suggest how limitations could be overcome
in future.
Once you have done this, your paper should have a logical flow and in APA. Please follow the
format
shown in the learning module and be a minimum of 8 pages of narrative excluding title page
and bibliography. It must be in proper APA style. You should have at least 2 tables and/or

Writing your research manuscript involves editing and formatting your work up until now.
Your goal is to have a paper that flows from beginning to an end. Also, you will be
formatting it in a style similar to a professional research journal. For the final assignment, I
am using general manuscript guidelines from the Journal of Nursing Administration.
As a graduate student completing this assignment, you have now written a manuscript.
Please use these two focused research questions on the impact of telehealth on reducing hospital readmissions in Dayton, OH:
- Specific Population Question: For heart failure patients discharged from hospitals in Dayton, OH, does participation in a post-discharge telemonitoring program reduce the rate of 30-day readmissions compared to usual care?
- Intervention Component Question: Among Medicaid patients in Dayton, OH who are readmitted to the hospital within 30 days of discharge, what is the impact of adding a telehealth follow-up visit within 3 days of discharge on the likelihood of subsequent readmissions within 60 days?
