It should be noted that the topic of the essay is specifically on the roman court and imperial joruneys, but i want to focus on hadrian as he was the travelling emperor.

As for ancient sources, you are to use the Historia Augusta (life of hadrian) and Cassius Dio’s Roman History (book 69). I have also attached both of these files.
As for the inclusion of modern scholalry sources, include journals, articles, or any form of modern scholarly sources where you see fit. at least one article per section of the essay.
