The New and Emerging Cannabis Auditing Compliance and regulatory Standards Proposal

Instructions
for the Proposal

The purpose of the proposal is to
let the professor know about your topic, the reason that you have chosen it,
and the references that you plan to use for your research.  Once your proposal is approved you are free to
proceed with the paper.  The proposal
should be typewritten, double spaced and approximately one-page in length.  Organize the proposal as follow.

Proposed Topic

Briefly describe the topic.  Explain why you chose the topic.  If not self-evident, explain how the topic is
relevant to the course. (Auditing)

Proposed
References

List your proposed
references using proper APA citation style.

You need to use credible, substantive sources (“opedias”
are never appropriate resources because they can be written by anyone and the
only quality check is the “crowd”).
As
each student’s topic is different, there are no specific guidelines as to what
resources to consult or the minimum number of resources to use.  However for most topics reference to at least
five substantial, relevant articles in either professional or academic
journals, textbooks (textbooks should be used sparingly), and to PCAOB or AICPA
standards or literature is expected.

Sources should be varied, all sources cannot come from Internet sites.  The Stockton library databases should be used
for at least two sources.  Sources should
include professional journal articles and professional publications.  Use sources that you understand.  The sources used in the final paper may
differ slightly from those listed in the proposal.  As you delve into your topic you may find
more appropriate or relevant sources
