UH 347 Midterm Paper Rubric
This paper will be 8-10 pages in length.
The paper prompt is:
This paper will be based on your readings of Martha Nussbaum and Paul Tillich. In addition to those readings, you will be required to utilize one additional source that you locate on your own. This source can be a scholarly book/article, novel, movie, television series, album, poetry, artwork, graphic novel, etc. In the paper, I want to see you triangulate the relationships between your three sources and show how they inform each other, problematize each other, explain each other, etc. In short, how do all of your sources, together, help you think through the political theory of love? Your model for this paper can be found in Nussbaum’s book that we will read together.
