The Role of Nutrient Timing Theory in the Impact of Pre-Training Carbohydrates on Adolescent Swimming Performance

Below are the instructions that must be followed exactly as
this professor is very particular

Also attached are 2 documents that I did for this project

1. Theoretical Framework outlining the theoretical framework Role
of Nutrient Timing Theory
that must be used to substantiate the rationale
of this study. This theory must be the baseline of all the research done. There
can be other theories included, if you find them in other journal articles, but
there must be a focus on this.

2. The Impact of Pre training….draft of the outline of my study

You should use the references I have included in both of these papers in your document

INSTRUCTIONS:

Goal: develop foundational
skills in conducting a literature review by identifying and summarizing
relevant research on your chosen topic.

You are expected to demonstrate your
ability to search, cite, and synthesize scholarly sources.

The final submission should include an introduction, summary of findings, critical analysis, and synthesis.

Instructions

  • Based on your topic, complete a preliminary
    Literature Search:
Use academic databases such as Google Scholar, PubMed, JSTOR, Identify at least 50 scholarly articles
(primary, secondary, or tertiary sources) that are relevant to your
research topic. Ensure that the literature selected is current (preferably
but not absolutely within the last 10 years) and pertinent to your
    research objectives.
  • Citation
    Requirement:
Cite at least 10 sources per page. You should
properly integrate these citations to support the key points in your
review. Use a mix of direct quotes, paraphrasing, and summaries, ensuring
that your paper is well referenced and supported by credible sources.
  • Summarize
    Key Findings:
For each source, provide a brief summary that
captures the key findings and how they relate to your research topic.
Highlight major trends, gaps, or debates in the literature. Where
relevant, make note of the methodologies used, as this will help you refine
your approach in your final proposal.
  • Critical
    Analysis:
Beyond summarizing the findings, analyze the strengths
and weaknesses of each study. What contributions do these sources make to
the field? Are there any inconsistencies or areas needing further
    exploration?
  • Synthesis: Synthesize
the information into a cohesive discussion that connects the literature to
your research topic. Discuss overall trends, gaps, and areas for future
research based on your literature search. This synthesis will later inform
your own research question or hypothesis for your final proposal.
  • Formatting: Use
APA citation style throughout your paper.

Assessment Criteria

Quality and relevance of literature selected.

Depth of summary and understanding of key findings.

Critical analysis of sources and ability to highlight research gaps.

Effective synthesis of literature to inform future research.

Correct and consistent use of APA citation style.

Meeting the requirement of at least 10 citations per page.

Submission Requirements

 Length:  ( 12 to 15 pages)
