The seven core components that emerged from the readings of the literacy– technology integration journey, both as teachers of teachers and teachers of children, are: determining what to teach and how to teach it, navigating the tools and the logistics of technology integration, making the most of human resources, engaging in collaboration and communication, engaging in reflection and self-assessment, promoting learning to learn, and making teacher learning transparent to students. Even in the midst of unprecedented technological advances, the teacher remains the most critical agent of change.
Select one of these seven core components and propose in two to three paragraphs, how you could become an agent of change for that component within your school and classroom and how that change would affect your classroom practice.
