I want to talk about how my Korean side and American Side collide as I got used to the American culture. I have to finish it by tonight but I just cannot write today. Down here is what I have wrote from this morning.
“U of O, Where Two Worlds Collide”
I hold the sharpest dual edged sword of my life:moving to the United States. I remember struggling to write a book report during sixth grade, my first year of living in the United States. Now, I find myself writing numerous pages of college essays.. Isn’t it incredible how I advanced throughout the years?
In my entry years of living in the U.S, I was exposed to numerous difficulties. Despite being in the U.S, I still practiced my Korean culture. I attended Korean churches, and ate rice cake soups for new years. As my English skills advanced throughout middle school and High school.
For the conclusion, I want to talk about how I feel safe to express both of my cultures in U of Oregon.
