Theory Reaction Paper #4 Assignment Instructions
You MUST submit the reaction paper to the Turnitin link in this unit before the deadline listed! The Turnitin link will become active at the beginning of the week and you will not be able to submit after the deadline. If you fail to submit before the deadline you will receive a zero for the assignment. You will receive feedback from me on Turnitin, so be sure to check your submission for my comments after the grade is posted. This should help you improve your writing as the course progresses.
Consider the following a general formatting rubric. Points will be deducted for not following this format and for not including required information in the papers.
- The paper must be written in 12 pt. Times New Romans Font, double spaced, 1 inch margins, APA format.
- You must include “Reaction Paper #” in the top left of the header and your name and page number in the top right of the header.
- You absolutely must include in text citations for information you use as you write your paper and a references page with the full reference in APA format.
- Each paper cannot exceed 2 pages (not including an APA formatted reference page). I will NOT grade any information exceeding 2 pages. You need to learn to determine the most important information to include and write concisely.
- Students should be very wary of their similarity rate on Turnitin, as any similarity rate percentage higher than 20% will receive a failing grade for failure to produce original work or for plagiarism (this excludes references).
Please see the “Fundamentals of Research and Writing” handout on Blackboard in the “Syllabus & Overview” tab, which provides information on the Dos and Do Nots of academic writing, APA formatting, and links to help with finding research, resources, and references for information and citations.
