I need a thesis on the qualitative and quantitative evaluation of autonomous ships whether they are more effective either for ocean-going or coastal shipping, taking into account economic, legal (international public and private maritime law), insurance, operational (in the context of shipping), technical and maritime factors. I have prepared a draft of the thesis (includes the ready-made questionnaire) among the files shared for guidance as well as other dissertations from the same university to have as examples of how the thesis should be done. They emphasize that it be done either with branded interviews from people in the field or with anonymous questionnaires from people in the field.
The assessment will have to be both quantitative for the financial part, qualitative for parts such as statutory, Insurance, levels of autonomy and mixed for the technical / marine and operational parts, because we need to weigh in the numerical attributes of various components, in relation to their qualitative parts.
