This discussion will take a look at the development of attachment in infancy. For this discussion board, you will be asked to review content from the chapter and address what you know about about attachment.

Your forum should include the following information:

1. Describe an example of each of the four attachment styles.  The example can be entirely from your own imagination, can come from a popular book/tv/movie, or from your own experience.  If the example is from real life, please do not include any identifying details that might reveal the person’s identity.  Describe each example in three or four sentences each, and then include one sentence (or more) that explains WHY that example illustrates the attachment style.

2. Based on what you have read and learned, how important do you think attachment is and why?
