My topic and objectives are

Objective 1: Understanding Employee Experiences in Seasonal Tourism
– Investigate the experiences and challenges faced by employees in hotels and other tourism-related establishments in Greece during peak and off-peak seasons, such as job security, work-life balance, and training opportunities.
– Analyze how seasonal employment affects employees’ job satisfaction, skill development, and career progression within the tourism sector.
– Evaluate the impact of seasonal employment patterns on employees’ financial stability, personal well-being, and professional growth.
Objective 2: Developing Employee-Centric Strategies in Seasonal Tourism
– Explore employee-focused strategies adopted by tourism establishments in Greece to address seasonal employment challenges, including enhanced training programs, flexible work arrangements, and employee welfare initiatives.

This thesis aims to shift the focus towards the experiences and needs of employees in Greece’s seasonal tourism industry. By investigating their challenges and exploring innovative, employee-centric strategies, this research seeks to provide insights and recommendations that enhance employee well-being, performance, and satisfaction, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable and resilient tourism sector in Greece.
