Do a scientific study on two selected topics and make a 1.5 page report
on each.
• The report should have 4 sections:
• Introduction/Aim: Introduce what you are studying and why you think
it is important. Explain the terms and definitions in the title. If you are
fact checking, explain the implications of the same.
• Method: Detail the methodology adopted. It could be literature search
(which should be cited). If you are using surveys from papers, mention
the sample size and other details. Use at least 5 sources for each
topic. Include research papers and verifiable articles. Avoid opinion
pieces and paid content.
• Conclusion: Here discuss the results of the information you
gathered. Check if the result you are discussing is the scientific
consensus (if not your sources might be unbiased). If you are
disproving a myth or fact checking a claim, mention explicitly how you
arrived at the result.
• Bibliography: Cite all the papers, verifiable trusted articles you used in
the work. Topic 1:
• Did vaccines help reducing infected cases and death during
Covid? Topic 2:
What are the leading causes for homelessness?
Make a 8 minutes presentation (+2 minutes for questions) to be
