Globalization has revealed significant variations in how corporations are balancing the pursuit of profits with environmentally sustainable business practices. These variations are particularly distinct among developed and developing countries. As the most rapidly growing economies, developing countries possess the most lucrative growth market and at the same time are the most adversely impacted by social, economic and environmental crises. These countries therefore present a distinctive set of challenges in the development and implementation of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agendas.
Your paper will explore the challenges of CSR with particular reference to developing country contexts. You will work within your group to prepare a capstone project due on November 28. Students will prepare a group paper and recorded presentation on a Multinational Corporation (MNC) which operates in at least one developed and one developing country. The paper and presentation will demonstrate a strategic analysis of the MNC using technology, global corporate social responsibility reports and other external data sources. Students will evaluate potential enhancements to an existing product or service with a view to improving environmental benefits across a variety of potential criteria. Students must obtain my approval for their topic by October 24 (short eClass submission with brief description). The group paper and presentation will count toward 20 points of your final grade. For my part I am introduces the developing country Switzerland, and writing the beginning and based on the whole content. And i need to do the same part for the ppt.
