Discuss the sociological concepts: symbolic interaction, conflict theory,
structural functionalism, and feminism.

Discuss the impact of Tourism on society categorise the impacts into
economic, socio-cultural, environmental, or political, as well as positive and
negative,

   
iii.        
Comment on the interrelatedness of these impacts, for example, in what
ways the impacts are related, or, how strong the relationship is.

   
iv.        
comment on the sustainability and impacts of tourism development on the
overall wellbeing of society.

Relevant theories (e.g., Butler’s (1980) tourism
lifecycle, Leiper’s (1979) tourism system, stakeholder theory, community
participation model (Wu, Zhang & Fujiwara, 2013)), tourism principles and
practice can be useful to support your analysis. 

Conclusion (300 words)

Give conclusive remarks:

Consolidate your key findings and provide an
opinion in the conclusive remarks – to what extent will the socio-cultural and socio-economic
concepts influence the development of sustainable tourism
in the society?  Is there an urgency to address these issues?

To provide the remarks, you should

      
i.        
pick several key (NOT all) findings,
defend your choice by explaining their importance,

    
ii.        
comment and explain your opinions about the sustainability of tourism
development and the interrelationship between tourism and society.
