I would like to have a thesis chapter on the following topic “Tracing
the route from “Regionalism to Universalism and Back” with Habila and Gyasi”. The novels taken for this are Yaa Gyasi’s Homegoing and Helon Habila’s Travelers. This is a literature research so it has to be mostly analysis based. There should be Introduction of 3 pages, conclusion of 2 and main discussions for the remaining 20. Here is the exerpt from the Synopsis for the same chapter. “
The third chapter is titled “ Tracing the route
“from Regionalism to Universalism” and Back in Habila and Gyasi”. Gyasi’s Homegoing is a generational novel where
characters are plagued by the evils of Slavery, Racism, Inferiority, and
Otherness. The necessity of leaving the motherland or being moved away from it
by the use of brute force eventually, at some point, leads people back to where
they come from when the identity tussle grows. Habila’s Travellers is an account of 6 individuals and their journeys from
Africa to Europe. The ways they took, the hardships they faced, and the longing
for their native land have birthed the dilemma in people of leaving-holding of
everything dear to them and the eagerness of accepting what’s theirs. The African emotion of staunch nativeness is
on the steep rise, now more than ever. This chapter will therefore provide for
this very understanding of how times have forced people to move out from their
respective regions to indulge with the wider world but are now on their way
back”. The chapter can have discussions on what is regionalism and what are the characteristics of regionalism found in both the works in terms of culture., tradition, food, dance, songs etc. Same can be done for Universalism through the movement and the necessity of coming back and ways how they are coming back. Quote other thesis, papers and books for the same as the source. I would require Plag check and AI check for the completed work
