- Page 1: Title page which will include the title of your paper, your name, course title, instructor’s title (Mrs. Stacie Vesolich)
- Pages 2 to 6 will include the introduction, body, and conclusion of your paper with parenthetical citations, commonly referred to as in-text citations, such as (Smith 61) in APA format (click here to learn more about APA formatting). Note: On a college level, instructors require page numbers. This is easily obtainable when the source is a reliable source. If the page number absolutely cannot be found, then use the published year or the date the information was retrieved.
- Page 7: Works Cited page with 10 to 15 sources. Utilize a variety of sources from textbooks, periodicals, credible online sources, interviews, etc. This page should also follow the APA format. Please include authors. If an author cannot be found, place the title of the information in quotations: Example: (“Tennis.” Encyclopedia Britannica. 4th ed. Print.)
Grading Standards
You will receive up to 25 points on the final paper based on the following:
1. How you edited, proofread, and revised your paper
2. Your proper use of parenthetical citations in APA format
3. Your Works Cited page in APA format
Remember, if your final paper looks the same as the first draft, your instructor will deduct points from your grade.
