As for the format, all film reaction papers must be typed, double spaced with a 12-point Times New Roman font and each page must be numbered. As for the content of the text, 50 percent of your reaction paper should indicate the main points made in the film and 50 percent should include an explanation of what you learned, what you thought was interesting, or an explanation of how the content of the film relates to your own life. Every paragraph must have a minimum of four complete sentences. Each sentence must have a subject, verb, and predicate. The first part of your reaction paper should cover the summary of the facts regarding what you saw and should be written in the third person. In the first part of your reaction paper, you will not use terms like I or me. The second part of your reaction paper should cover your opinion regarding what you saw and should be written in the first person. Do not use the term we or contractions anywhere in your paper.
