- Discuss your experience with diversity and inclusion in an educational environment. If you are a teacher, you can use examples from your classroom. If you are not a teacher, you can use examples from your school/class when you were a student.
- How do/will you promote inclusivity among your diverse students? Discuss ways of creating an inclusive classroom environment.
Paper submission:
- Submit a paper that is 750 –1000 words in length (3-4 pages), exclusive of the reference and title page
- Double-spaced using 12-point and Times New Roman font. The one-inch margin for all sides.
- Check all content for grammar, and spelling, and be sure you have properly cited all resources used in APA format.
- Having introduction, body with proper headings, conclusion, and at least four reference citations (including one outside source other than course readings) in APA 7 format.

- This qualitative research study focused on information related to how teachers inclusive classroom settings react towards students with disabilities in their classrooms. Peer acceptance rates in inclusive settings is also reviewed.

- This article explores teacher reflections on the expectation of all learners to be successful in math content, no matter their background or learning level. NCTM principles are used for discussion and equity education access for all students.

9. Juvonen, J., Nishina, A., & Graham, S. (2006). Ethnic diversity and perceptions of safety in urban middle schools. Psychological Science, 17(5), 393-400.
- This journal article resource review student perceptions from 11 urban middle schools that have varied ethnic diversity. An interesting find in this research study presented that is supportive of inclusive and diverse educational environments is that safety in diverse settings.
