Expectations
Be sure to follow the basic formula for a college-level essay: Introduction with contextual information and a clear thesis statement. Body paragraphs with clear topic sentences that let the reader know what will be covered in that paragraph. Linear and logical transitions. A conclusion that provides a good summary of what your main points were and some final thoughts about the topic that make a meaningful point.
