What factors contribute to individuals’ attitudes towards immigration in the United Kingdom, whether they are supportive or opposed?

I’m currently working on a research project in political science where I’m using coding to investigate the general attitudes or responses of the British towards immigrants. However, I have no coding knowledge (I use a tool called R), so it’s been quite challenging. I need to create graphs using coding for my quantitative paper, and I’ve attached a PDF file with my research proposal and the guidelines given by my professor. The paper needs to be about 5000 characters long, which should be about 19 pages in 12pt New Times Roman double-spaced. I need to show how British people feel about immigrants using a scale, and my professor told me to find data from the ESS (European Social Survey) website (https://ess.sikt.no/en/variable/query/united/page/3). I can’t use any other sites and should use data from after the UK’s Brexit in 2016. I also need to include regression analysis and write the paper based on the hypotheses I’ve established.
