I have attached the 4 parts of the capstone for the topic to use to make the powerp point.
Oral Presentation
You are required to develop a recorded video presentation (8 to 10 minutes) on the goals, achievements, and conclusions of the capstone project. You should provide a thorough discussion and analysis, indicating the interpretations of your findings and what you learned when completing this project. This presentation will showcase your oral communication skills, so pay special attention to how you communicate your thoughts. Your presentation should be well organized, compelling, credible, and polished.
In particular:
-
Develop a clear introduction, body, and conclusion, with transitions that make the presentation consistent and cohesive. The end of your presentation should be impactful and relevant.
-
Make your central message memorable by stating it precisely, repeating it as needed, and supporting it strongly throughout your presentation.
-
Establish your authority by including a variety of supporting information, such as examples, illustrations, statistics, analogies, or quotations.
-
Use language that is imaginative, enhances the presentation, and is appropriate to the audience.
-
Exude confidence by using good posture, eye contact, gestures, and vocal expressiveness.
Guidelines
-
Review the following articles to help you prepare for your presentation:
-
Use PowerPoint as a visual aid. This aids in the audience’s understanding and influence of the information you are presenting. Specifically, you are encouraged to practice and write out a script or prepare slide notes so you have a good flow to your presentation. Since you are recording your presentation in a video format (not performing it live), you may want to anticipate possible questions and try to incorporate answers to those questions into your presentation, if possible.
-
Your presentation should include 12 to 15 slides. You will be graded on the effective design of your slides and presentation of the content. Your presentation should be impactful and interesting, keeping your audience’s attention. Be sure to include graphic elements such as charts or graphs. Your design should be bold and compelling. Be consistent with fonts, colors, and stylistic choices. Simple is better than cluttered.
-
Record a video of yourself presenting the slides. Throughout the video, the audio should be clear and your oral delivery of the presentation should appear polished. Delivery techniques (posture, gesture, eye contact, and vocal expressiveness) make the presentation interesting and you should appear comfortable. Be sure to discuss why this topic is important, perhaps by way of an illustration, news item, story, or personal allusion. Make thoughtful language choices that support the effectiveness of the presentation and are appropriate to the audience. Act as a guide on a tour of your topic, sharing interesting information and visuals. Be sure to close the presentation with what you want your viewer to take away from it all. Include what you’ve learned, why it’s impactful, and how it can make a difference in the world. Make it relevant!
