Final Project Report – (15 pages (inclusive of figures, tables, etc; double-spaced;
12 point font, one inch margins)).
Based on your research, synthesis and analysis, you will submit the Final Report. The report
should be organized in a logical manner. Your report can be divided into four main sections.
Section 1 should include a brief introduction, goals, methods, ending with a statement about
how the report is organized. Section 2 should focus on the geographic characteristics of the
location or the phenomenon under study – this is similar to providing the background context
of your project topic. Section 3 may be further sub-divided into several sub-sections for a well- rounded and logical desription and analysis of your chosen topic. Section 4 should briefly summarize the main findings and
key insights and conclusions.
References should be provided after the main text, but before any Appendices. There is no limit
to the number of references (it is based on the scope and quality of your report.
