I need to write a rough draft research paper bassed off these three questions. Why are public school teachers and staff underpaid? Does sexism play a role in teachers’ low income? Why are teachers having to pay out of pocket for classroom necessities? My thesis is sexism plays a role in the underpayment of public school teachers, but because women make up the majority of the profession, they often face wage inequality compared to men the same field. This financial miss treatment not only results in lower salaries, but also forces teachers to spend their own money on classroom necessities, highlighting society’s failure to reasonably support and value teachers and education.
