Artefact details |
A dissertation is an extended academic study with clear and specific aims, and based on the writer’s own study, learning, research and original thought. Please see the Moodle book ‘What is a dissertation’ for more information. A dissertation template is available here. Ethical Approval from the SCCJ Research Ethics Committee is required for all research involving human participants, social media, animals and/or sensitive data before it can be undertaken. This is a substantive (formal) piece of coursework, so the usual academic regulations and submission processes apply. This assessment should be fully referenced and formatted in APA 7th format. Guidance on APA 7th edition can be found via the library’s Referencing@Portsmouth system.
