Important Information About the Week 5 Proposal Assignment:
Please make sure you understand what a proposal is before completing this assignment. It is not a book report or a research report (although it should be supported by high-quality, peer-reviewed research sources). Students often lose point because of not understanding exactly what a proposal is, what it should include, and how it should be written.
What is a proposal? A proposal is a document that should be convincing and justified, in the case of this assignment for example, for executive decision-making for the adoption of a healthcare technology. You are making a recommendation for consideration, which should be informative and well-prepared for the decision-making process.
Below are a couple of resources that might help you generally understand what a proposal is and how it should be done, but remember, that the terms or proposal section names might not match one-to-one with your assignment requirements but are the same general ideas, so be sure to use the template provided in the assignment instructions to include the required sections in your proposal. Also, feel free to Google or Internet search for other helpful resources on understanding what a proposal is.
