Parts 1+2 Research Paper
The combined Parts 1 and 2 of your paper should be about 4 pages of Part 1 (improved and edited from instructor feedback), in addition to about 2 pages of Part 2, so should total about 6 pages in length double-spaced plus a separate title page, plus a separate reference page (about 8 pages total). Use APA 7th edition formatting. You should have at least five references with in-text citations within the 6 text-body pages. You do not need an abstract.
Please submit your work as a .doc or as a .docx document both to Turnitin.com and to this assignments tab. Submit a PDF or screenshot of your Turnitin similarity score of less than 20%.
Use of artificial intelligence (AI) generating text tools is prohibited for this assignment, so do not use AI tools such as GrammarlyGo for writing. You may compose the paper as a Google doc if you have disabled any AI generating tools from your computer. Google docs has a good spelling and grammar checker.
Turnitin will display an AI text and AI paraphrased text detection report for faculty which is not displayed to students on the Turnitin.com website.
For Part 2 of your writing, provide the most Current State of Affairs regarding [your topic]. Describe and/or explain recent news, present developments and how the situation is evolving (right now). Summarize the most recent research, new discoveries, and innovations. List some of the thought leaders (people/organization) who are at the forefront of new developments regarding [your topic].
Provide the: who, what, where, how, and why of the Current State of Affairs regarding [your topic]. In addition, provide related or causal factors driving or shaping the evolution of [your topic].
Depending on the topic you chose, you might not be able to answer all the questions above. That is okay — they are only suggestions. However, you should illuminate what is happening (right now) regarding your topic.
Please be mindful that this is a healthcare technology course and your paper MUST be a healthcare technology paper.

Part 2 Paper Grading Criteria
• Clarity, organization, & logical content = ___ out of 5 points
