Write Submission or Attach MS Word or PDF File only!

Write 1 page for the current Module, which is approximately 470-500 total words per journal entry in single-spaced paragraphs using Font size 12 in Arial or Times New Roman.  An average single spaced page in 12 font is 470-500 words.  You should have 10 journal entries by the end of the semester.

Your journals should reflect what you are learning from each Module class session and may include reflections, reactions and thoughts about what you are learning from the textbook chapters, exercises, discussions, videos, and assignments for that lesson/week.

DO NOT SUMMARIZE WHAT WE DO IN THE LESSON. Each Journal Entry is a Reaction and Reflection on what you are learning in class and how your are using it in your everyday lives– personally and professional as you grow in understanding about Interpersonal Communication.

I will be grading on content quantity and your spelling, grammar, etc.  I want to know your true and honest thoughts on what you are learning and how you are applying it to your lives.

JOURNAL 6- POSSIBLE QUESTIONS TO ASK YOURSELF and ANSWER IN THE JOURNAL ENTRY

1.  What are the progressive Stages of a Relationship according to the textbook?  Explain each stage.

4. From Chapter 6 in the textbook, which Key Terms or concepts stood out as you become oriented and more familiar with what The Life Cycle of Relationships is all about?  Which key terms can you relate to and how?  What examples from your life can you give us about some of them?  Write about those examples.

5.  What do you think about the saying, “You get out of the relationship what you put into the relationship?”

6.  What do you think about the concept, “In all the universe there is one perfect person for us?”  Is that true or in a world of 5 Billion people, are there multiple possibilities?  Why or why not?

7.  What are the most important characteristics, qualities or traits that you are looking for in a marriage partner or long-term relationship partner?  List why each of these are things important to you.

8.  What are your thoughts about the textbook’s section about Reasons for Longevity in Relationships?

9.  How does Eleanor Roosevelt’s quote, “No one can make you feel inferior without your consent” relate to relationships?

10.  Are there relationships in your life that you know are unhealthy and need to re-consider participating in?  Why are they unhealthy?  Do you have the courage to change or end the relationship if it is NOT healthy for you to be in?

11.  Are there people that you know who have healthy relationships?  What are the aspects that you see are healthy and are good examples for you to follow?

12.  Do you feel you deserve a healthy long-term relationship and will you NOT SETTLE until you find someone who treats you with respect, who helps and encourages you to become the best person you can be in all aspects of your life?  Will you also respect the other person, help and encourage them to become the best person they can be in all aspects of their life?
