You may write a case study on Interpersonal Deception Theory (IDT). For this case study, please watch an episode of the show, Stranger Things. I want you to look at Season 1, Episode 5 (available on Netflix but if access to Netflix is at all an issue, and you would prefer to do this option, then please contact me).
- Select 2 – 3 concepts from Interpersonal Deception Theory that you would like to use to explore the episode. (e.g., Leakage, propositions, etc.). After watching the episode, use the theory to explain a scene or scenes:
- Briefly describe the scene and the communication that explicates concepts of the theory;
- Define the concepts and apply them to the scenes you selected (i.e., how do we see these concepts playing out in the scene?)
