  2. Identify Your Attachment Style:

  3. Parental Role in Fostering Self-Concept:
    Share your opinion on what parents can do to foster a healthy self-concept in their children. Offer specific examples of actions or behaviors that may contribute to building a positive self-image in children.

  4. Analysis of Parenting Styles:
    Consider Baumrind’s four parenting styles (authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, and uninvolved). Reflect on which style best characterizes the way your parents raised you. Discuss how this parenting style impacted your self-concept or self-esteem during childhood and/or adolescence.

  5. Additional Reflections:
    Share any other personal experiences or thoughts you have related to parent-child attachment and its impact on a child’s self-esteem. This is an opportunity to express any further insights or reflections you have on the topic.
