will be required to write an article critique of a professional, data-based
research journal article. This assignment is worth 10% of your final grade.
Professional journals include those published by the American psychological
Association (APA), American psychiatric Association and so forth.

professional journals:

        Time,
Star, Rolling Stone, the New York Times, Psychology Today, and other popular  

        periodicals. 

               
Any article chosen should correlate with class topics, and context. Check
with me if you are  

                unsure if an article
qualifies.

will first summarize the article in about a page, and in the subsequent pages
you will professionally critique the article. 
Further details of this assignment will be discussed in class. As with
the thought paper, each journal critique MUST be typed in American
Psychological Association (APA) style.
