You will write a response that includes
three sections: a description/explanation section, evaluation/critique section,
and reflection section which are all directed at the content of the video
The Extra Credit Response will require the following:
-2 pages
-double-space
– no citation information is needed just mention which video you are responding to in the title or opening sentences
-word document will be submitted via turn it in via turnitin.com to check for plagiarism
the extra credit response must have three sections:
1. describe/explain (1-2 paragraphs)
-you will be asked to describe or explain the central concepts from the video
-spend a paragraph or two illustrating and elaborating what the content or speaker is talking about, what they’re getting at, or what the main idea is
2. evaluate/critique (1-2 paragraphs)
-offer reasons why the presenter or ideas expressed seem correct, incorrect, or needs further explanation
– be sure that your highlighting the strengths or weaknesses of the expressed claims and offering reasons as to why either is important or problematic
3. reflection (1-2 paragraphs)
– offer personal reflection on what you learned from the video. why or why not was the subject important or meaningful to you? what particularly stood out that you think is relevent?
