- You must have a minimum of 3 appropriate sources in addition to your lab manual (your manual does NOT count toward the 3-source minimum). At least one of these sources must be primary.
- Your title should be original and appropriate for a scientific paper.
- You may only cite your manual in the methods section.
- Your introduction must contain a minimum of two sources.
- Your results must contain a minimum of two (2) figures AND one (1) table. Remember to properly label and caption all figures and tables!
- Your discussion must contain a minimum of one source.
- Your Lab Report must be submitted via Canvas as a Microsoft Word document or PDF to receive credit.
Formatting
- The title should be centered (a title page is not necessary).
- The author’s full name should follow the title on a separate
- Lab partners’ names should appear on the following line.
- Course, lab instructor name, date on the line below.
- The entire document should be double-spaced, with the exception of your reference section which should be single-spaced with hanging indents.
- Include page numbers.
- All text should be 12pt Times New Ro
- All margins should be set to 1”.
